Olentangy graduate Morgan Irwin has signed to play volleyball for Heidelberg. Irwin was a three-year letterwinner and helped lead the Braves to a 24-3 record last season. Heidelberg finished 31-8 last season and competes as a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Coach Jeff Riegler has partnered with the Buckeye Swim Club to bring a competitive program to area youth swimmers. This program will offer quality competitive swim

The Ohio High School Athletic Association Board of Directions met June 11 and voted on a number of issues. The Board elected Steven Stirn to serve as president and Rocco Nero as vice president for the 2009-10 school year, beginning Aug. 1. The Board voted to extend the contract with Akron Firestone Stadium to be the site for the softball finals, making the terms 10 years, which begins in 2008. The Board approved a one-year extension for Huntington Park to be the site for the state baseball tournament in 2010.
