Several Olentangy-area residents will participate in upcoming fall concerts by youth ensembles of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.

Sarah Gray, Dorianne Ma, Emily Olson, Evelyn Yoon, Laura Webb and Sean DeLeon will be among those participating in the Columbus Symphony Cadet Orchestra fall concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in Mees Auditorium at Capital University.

The Cadet Orchestra includes students in grades 7-10 and performs some unabridged classical works, some arranged for student orchestra and some pieces from the popular and film genre.

Stellar Chong, Suejee Lee, Yaeji Kim, Chris Park, Austin Channell and Kylynne Johnson will be among those participating in the Columbus Symphony Chamber Strings Orchestra fall concert at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Hughes Auditorium at The Ohio State University.

The Chamber Strings Orchestra, which is an education program of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, includes string players in grades 6-9.This ensemble benefits from a symbiotic relationship with The Ohio State University's School of Music students and the middle school-age members.
