The Delaware County Sheriff's Office is investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred Saturday night, March 27 at the Chipotle restaurant, 9733 Sawmill Parkway, Powell, the sheriff's press release said.

The two male robbers were both wearing dark hooded sweatshirts. One also wore a mask.

Sheriff Walter Davis III said, "The employees were taking out the trash when the robbers approached, one of them brandishing a handgun. The robbers forced the employees into the cooler, then tried to gain access to the manager's office, where the cash was being prepared for the night deposit."

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $2,000 for information pertaining to this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (740) 833-2800 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at (614) 461-8477. All tips are anonymous. A cash reward is available if your information leads to an arrest.

"Fortunately no one got hurt; however there was a weapon involved. We are aggressively pursuing these criminals," Davis said in the release. "No one should feel like they can't go to their job without the fear of being robbed. Our community deserves better than that."
