TechColumbus recently announced that four Powell and three Lewis Center leaders and companies are semifinalists for the annual Innovation Awards.
Innovation Awards recognize Central Ohio people and companies for their achievements in technology leadership.
A total of 13 business leaders and two high school students will be recognized Feb. 3 at a ceremony at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
Semifinalists from Lewis Center are Larry Chaffin, chairman and chief executive officer of Pluto Networks, nominated for Executive of the Year among companies with fewer than 50 employees, and also for Outstanding Service Company among companies with fewer than 50 employees; Randy Hall and Jim McCombs, president and business development manager, respectively, Project Solutions Group, nominated for Outstanding Service Company among companies with fewer than 50 employees and also for Outstanding Start-up Business; and Mark Heidkamp, CPA, chief financial officer and vice president of American Business Solutions Inc., nominated for Outstanding Service Company among companies with fewer than 50 employees.
Semifinalists from Powell are Sachin Rudraraju, founder of Community Recycling Campaign, nominated for both Green Innovation and Innovation in Nonprofit Service Delivery; Bhaskara Rudraraju, Columbus chapter coordinator of the North South Foundation, nominated for Innovation in Nonprofit Service Delivery; Bob Kington, CEO of VacationView Inc., nominated for Outstanding Start-up Business; and Mike Eldredge, president of tekOrange, nominated for Outstanding Service Company among companies with fewer than 50 employees.
