The Olentangy Education Foundation (OEF) will hold its 12th annual golf outing on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Lakes Golf and Country Club.

The Olentangy Education Foundation (OEF) will hold its 12th annual golf outing on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Lakes Golf and Country Club.

Participants will have lunch at 11 a.m. and the 18-hole scramble event will begin at 12:30 p.m. For more information, visit olentangyeducationfoundation.org/.

OEF is a nonprofit, independent group of volunteers that raises funds to provide teacher and staff grants for programs not funded by the school district's budget. The group also awards scholarships to two seniors at each high school.

Since 2001, OEF has distributed more than $350,000 in grants and scholarships, including more than $35,000 in 2011.

The Hyssong family Dell, Susan and Richard will perform a concert of gospel music at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, at Berlin Church, 5175 S. Old State Road in Lewis Center.

With vocal harmony, brass instruments (trumpet and trombone), lively, energetic style and humor, the Hyssongs perform throughout the United States and Canada in churches, auditoriums and on gospel cruises, as well as on television and radio, according to information from Berlin Church.

The concert is free.
