Powell police reports

Forty pink flamingo lawn ornaments were stolen between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 2 from outside a residence in the 2500 block of Charoe Street in Lewis Center, according to Delaware County Sheriff's reports.

The missing flock of flamingos was valued at $400, reports said.

A Lewis Center woman was robbed at about 2:40 p.m. Sept. 30 near the 7800 block of Royal Park Drive, according to reports.

An unidentified suspect approached the victim and took $200 in cash and several credit cards, reports said.

A Lewis Center man who lives in the 2600 block of Koester Trace told the sheriff's office that someone used his personal information to make fraudulent purchases totaling $7,500 between midnight Sept. 27 and 11 a.m. Oct. 3.

Items worth $282 were stolen between 4 and 6 p.m. Sept. 29 from a business in the 8600 block of Columbus Pike, reports said.

An unidentified suspect took nine DVDs and a pocketknife and fled without paying, according to reports.

Powell

A Powell woman who lives in the 4700 block of Stone View Court reported an engagement ring worth $30,000 was stolen between 11 a.m. Oct. 5 and 6:21 p.m. Oct. 6.

She told police she suspects the ring was stolen from her place of business, located in the first block of North Liberty Street, according to Powell police reports.

Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary at about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at a residence in the 9000 block of Olentangy River Road.

An unknown suspect reportedly forced open a door at the residence, but apparently fled after an alarm sounded. No property was reported stolen.

An officer collected fingerprints from the scene.

Property worth $576 was stolen between midnight and 7:48 a.m. Oct. 3 from a car parked outside a residence in the 100 block of Tyler Creek Drive.

The victim said an unknown thief forced entry and took a digital camera, a wallet, sunglasses and an MP3 player.

A Powell man said someone threw eggs at the exterior of his house between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 8:57 a.m. Oct. 6 in the 400 block of Woodard Place.

A Powell man said someone damaged his car between 5:40 and 6:20 p.m. Oct. 1 while it was parked near the 4000 block of West Powell Road.
