Jewelry, computer among recent stolen items

Jewelry worth $4,500 was stolen between 9:35 a.m. and 7:54 p.m. Oct. 1 from a residence in the 1600 block of Abbotsford Green in Powell, according to Delaware County Sheriff's reports.

Stolen items include two pearl necklaces, pearl earrings and a faux diamond ring, reports said.

Property worth $2,086 was stolen between midnight and 11:33 a.m. Oct. 5 from a vehicle parked outside of a residence in the 10725 block of Preston Way in Powell, reports said.

An unknown thief entered the vehicle and stole a laptop computer, a sweatshirt and various school supplies, according to reports.

Power tools worth $604 were stolen between Aug. 10 and Oct. 2 from a residence in the 500 block of Walnut Boulevard in Lewis Center, the sheriff's office said.

Stolen items include two nail guns and two air hoses.

A bicycle worth $300 was stolen at 8:46 p.m. Sept. 13 from where it was parked outside a residence in the 300 block of West Powell Road, according to reports.

Property worth $246 was stolen between 5:30 and 6:10 p.m. Oct. 5 from a residence in the 5300 block of North Road in Lewis Center, reports said.

The thief shattered a glass door to gain entry, with damage estimated at $400, and took a portable video-game system and a car seat, according to reports.

Property worth about $140 was stolen at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 5 from a business in the 8800 block of Columbus Pike in Lewis Center, the sheriff's office said.

An unidentified thief took multiple pairs of underwear, socks, T-shirts, a baseball cap and a razor blade and fled without paying, according to reports.

Prescription medicine worth $100 was stolen between midnight and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 5 from a car parked outside a residence in the 5300 block of Woodbridge Avenue in Powell, reports said.

According to reports, an officer made an inquiry after observing a vehicle door standing ajar.

It was discovered that a bottle of pills was taken from the vehicle during the night, reports said.
