Bag holding $20,000 in cash stolen from Rosewood Court home
A resident told Powell police a duffel bag containing $20,000 in cash was stolen between Nov. 11 and 30 from his home in the 300 block of Rosewood Court.
Property worth $775 was stolen between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and 6:30 a.m. Dec. 3 from a residence in the 100 block of Briarbend Boulevard, police said.
Stolen property includes a GPS device, a camera and a saxophone.
Property worth $3,784 was stolen between 4 and 5:40 a.m. Dec. 5 from a vehicle parked outside a residence in the 200 block of Weatherburn Court, police said.
The victim reported someone smashed out a window of the car and took a camera, a tablet computer, an MP3 player and a variety of clothes and shoes.
Equipment worth about $1,900 was stolen between 8:30 and 11 a.m. Nov. 26 from a residence in the 6700 block of Steitz Road in Powell, according to Delaware County Sheriff's reports.
Stolen items include a weed trimmer, a blower, a bush trimmer and a bed-refining tool, reports said.
Property worth $1,177 was stolen between 11 a.m and 2:45 p.m. Nov. 23 from a residence in the 400 block of Walnut Boulevard in Lewis Center, reports said.
Stolen items include two pistols, a camera and a video-game console.
An unknown vandal reportedly spray-painted property between 6 p.m. Nov. 20 and 9 a.m. Nov. 21 at Worthington Arms Mobile Home Park, 5277 Columbus Pike in Lewis Center.
Damages were estimated at about $500, according to reports.
Property worth $400 was stolen between 12:30 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 22 from a vehicle parked outside a residence in the 3400 block of Manchester Drive in Powell, reports said.
Stolen items include a pair of sunglasses, headphones and $20 in cash, according to reports.
A rifle and a shotgun, together worth $300, reportedly were stolen between 7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 30 from a residence in the 2900 block of Peachblow Road in Lewis Center.
An MP3 player worth $250 was stolen between 10 p.m. Nov. 19 and 11:45 a.m. Nov. 20 from a vehicle parked outside a residence in the 7800 block of Royal Park Drive in Powell, reports said.
The facade of a business sustained about $200 in damages during an attempted break-in at about 11:30 p.m. Nov. 29 in the 8600 block of Owenfield Drive in Powell, according to reports.
The suspect damaged a door frame and lock while apparently attempting to pry the door open.
A shoplifter fled with $180 in merchandise about 5 p.m. Dec. 1 from a business in the 100 block of Meadow Park Avenue in Lewis Center, reports said.
