Powell business hit again; tools, cash stolen
Tools worth $1,925 were stolen between Dec. 20 and Jan. 2 from a business in the 300 block of West Olentangy Street, according to Powell police reports.
The victim reported someone stole a circular saw, a reciprocating saw, three nail guns, a hammer drill and $400 in cash.
Other tools have been stolen from the business over the past six months, according to reports.
Police responded to a report of a burglary that took place between Nov. 1 and Dec. 30 at a residence in the 8600 block of Northbluff Lane, according to reports.
A Powell business located in the 8700 block of Owenfield Drive was robbed at 6:07 p.m. Dec. 26, according to Delaware County Sheriff's reports.
An employee reported someone entered the store and fled after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.
Property worth $4,700 was stolen between 7 p.m. Dec. 23 and 5:50 a.m. Dec. 24 from a residence in the 6100 block of South Old State Road in Lewis Center, the sheriff's office said.
The thief entered the property and stole rims from a vehicle parked outside, as well as a weed trimmer and a leaf blower, reports said.
An unknown vandal caused about $1,500 in damages to a garage door at 8:25 p.m. Dec. 30 at a residence in the 3100 block of McCammon Chase Drive in Lewis Center, according to reports.
Copper waterlines worth $854 were reported stolen between Dec. 5 and 19 from a residence in the 3900 block of Creekwood Drive in Lewis Center.
Merchandise worth $170 was stolen between 1:45 and 2:23 p.m. Dec. 27 from a business in the 8500 block of Columbus Pike in Lewis Center, reports said. Officers were dispatched to the location after the thief fled, according to reports.
Merchandise worth $300 was stolen between 4 and 4:30 a.m. Dec. 24 from a business in the 8600 block of the same street, reports said.
A handgun worth $150 was stolen between 2:41 and 4 a.m. Dec. 25 from a residence in the 8800 block of Lake Ridge Drive in Lewis Center, according to reports.
