Powell: Three residents' identities stolen

Powell police responded to several reports of stolen identities this week.

A Powell woman who lives in the 3700 block of Shallow Creek reported someone used her personal information to steal $11,000 from her bank account at 1:30 p.m. March 16.

A resident of the 300 block of Park Woods Lane also reported that someone used her personal information to make fraudulent purchases totaling $388 between noon Feb. 18 and 4:02 p.m. March 19.

Finally, a Powell man residing in the 7500 block of Polo Lane said someone attempted to make purchases with his credit-card number between midnight Jan. 22 and 11:59 p.m. March 18.

Sheriff's reports

A cellphone worth $100 was stolen between 12:09 a.m. and 9 p.m. March 16 from a residence in the 1900 block of Parklawn Drive in Lewis Center, according to Delaware County Sheriff's reports.

In other recent sheriff's reports:

* A designer purse was stolen between 10:15 and 10:45 a.m. March 15 from a vehicle parked in the 4100 block of Lewis Center Road in Lewis Center.

* Two bicycles, together worth $200, were stolen between 6:33 and 6:58 p.m. March 14 while they were parked outside a business in the 3900 block of Attucks Drive in Powell.
