Olentangy Rotary, lecture featuring Roger Blackwell discussing "The Economy, What's Really Going On," 6:30 p.m. April 25, at the Bridgewater Conference Center, 10561 Sawmill Parkway in Powell. Blackwell is an American marketing expert, with experience as a marketing professor at Ohio State University, and has also taught at Stanford University, Cape Town University in South Africa, and Guelph University in Canada. The Goddard School, Children's Expo and Open House, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27, at 8542 Owenfield Drive, Powell. The preschool, which serves children from six weeks to 6 years of age, will provide activities such as face painting, sports, arts and crafts and givaways. As supporters of the Susan B. Komen's Race for the Cure, a silent auction and raffle of donations from community sponsors will be held throughout the event. Columbus Walk MS, check-in starting at 7:30 a.m. April 20, at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, 9990 Riverside Drive in Powell. Greater Powell Chamber of Commerce, Lunch and Learn, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25, at the Village Green (Powell Municipal Building) East Community Room, 47 Hall St. Delaware County Sheriff Russell Martin and Powell Police Chief Gary Vest will present "Identity Theft and How to Prevent It." Cost is $15 for members, $20 nonmembers of the chamber. The event will be limited to 40 attendees. Women's Board of the Columbus Museum of Art, 20th Anniversary Decorators' Show House, April 23 through May 12, at 21 S. Parkview Ave. in Bexley. The event kicks off with a 1920s themed Preview Party, Roaring into the Show House 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. April 20. The party features the musical stylings of Avalon Nine, signature drinks, food inspired by the 1920s, and vintage clothing and cards. Tickets are $100 per person, $175 per couple. The Decorators' Show House will be open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance or $20 if purchased at the door.
