Fall program registration started at Arts Castle

Registration for fall classes is underway at the Arts Castle.

Many classes begin the first week of September. Course selections range from dance, music, drama and yoga to painting, drawing, ceramics and jewelry making. Candace Mazur-Darman will direct a cast of children in The (Green) Grinch Who Stole Christmas, while older drama students will stage Canterbury Tales. Basic Reupholstery and Making Ink from Walnuts are among the other classes offered. Visit artscastle.org for a complete listing, including dates, times and fees.

A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 in honor of the Castle's current exhibit, "An Equine Jubilee." All are invited to meet the artists and view the collection of paintings, photographs and sculptures celebrating Delaware's favorite fall theme, the horse. Admission is free.

The Arts Castle is at 190 W. Winter St., Delaware. For more information about the Castle or any of its programs, call 740-369-2787.
