* Fiber Circle, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4. All things fiber; all skill levels welcome. Bring projects. Fee is $10/year.

* Beekeeping Apprenticeship Informational Meeting, 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8. Apiarist Dave Noble will describe the beekeeping program, including the cost and his "bee-centered philosophy." Free.

* Farm to Fork: Cooking with Seasonal Ingredients, 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11. The first of a series of 2014 demonstrations by local chef Mark Zedella. Cost is $30 per person per class. Classes are limited to 24 participants. Registration is required.

* Herbal Study Group, 1 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14. Explore the uses of wild and cultivated plants. Fee is $10/year.
