Olentangy Liberty High School freshman Lauren Smith tries out a distracted-driving simulator Monday, March 3, as freshman Amanda Cooper acts as the passenger and parent volunteer Rick Wentworth and others watch. In the simulation, the driver was taking home a friend who was providing directions, asking her to call and text people and to go faster. The simulator was provided by the Ohio Department of Transportation and brought to the school through the efforts of the school resource officers and the Teen Advocates group.
