Powell/Lewis Center: Package possibly borne of fraud

Delaware County Sheriff's reports

A Concord Township woman reported receiving a suspicious package last week, two months after her purse was stolen.

Delaware County Sheriff's deputies responded about 11 a.m. March 6 to the 5200 block of Spring Grove Court after receiving a report of suspicious activity.

The woman told deputies she received a package labeled with her address but with an unfamiliar name. The woman said her purse had been stolen in January at her place of employment and she was worried the package could be the result of identity fraud.

She said she would contact the company that sent the package and return it.
