Three Olentangy Orange High School football players have signed to play football with Division II schools.

On Feb. 1, running back Brandon Schoen signed with Ohio Dominican and defensive lineman Bill McCague signed with Tiffin. On Feb. 2, Taylor Hardy signed with Findlay.

Schoen, the Offensive Player of the Year in the Division I district and OCC-Capital, was recruited as a running back despite being a triple threat for the Pioneers.

As a senior, Schoen rushed for 1,262 yards on 138 carries for an average of 9.1 per attempt. He also had two kickoff returns for touchdowns and two punt returns for scores and led the team with five interceptions as a defensive back.

McCague was first-team all-district and first-team all-league.

Hardy was special mention all-district and first-team all-league.

The Pioneers finished 8-3 overall after losing to Hilliard Davidson 22-0 in an opening-ound playoff game. They won their second league title in three seasons, tying Big Walnut and New Albany for the title at 6-1.
