Lexington at Olentangy
Olentangy, 2-0 for the first time since 2010, faces another undefeated team when Lexington visits Friday, Sept. 7.
The Braves are 2-1 all-time against the Minutemen and won 31-14 the last time they played in 2005.
Olentangy beat rival Liberty 28-16 on Aug. 31, its third consecutive win over the Patriots, while Lexington defeated Shelby 29-0.
The Minutemen are capable of putting up big numbers. Lexington rushed for 318 yards in week one and had 225 yards and three touchdowns on the ground against Shelby. Richwine, a senior, has accounted for 337 of those yards, while Hunt, also a senior, has rushed for 212 yards.
Fortunately for the Braves, their defense is more suited to stopping the run, having held Kilbourne to 30 yards on 39 carries while allowing 570 yards passing over the first two games. Binkley led the defense with 14 tackles against Liberty.
Horstman is 22-for-34 passing for 332 yards and has run for three touchdowns. Binkley has two rushing scores.
