Two Orange baseball players choose colleges
Olentangy Orange High School seniors Brady Harris and Paul Trick signed Feb. 6 to play baseball in college.
Harris, a first baseman, pitcher and catcher, signed to play at Valparaiso, Ind.
Trick, a shortstop and pitcher, will play at Gardner-Webb University, a Division I school Boiling Springs, N.C.
The Pioneers finished 27-4 overall after losing to top-ranked Grove City 7-4 in a Division I regional final at Dublin Coffman. They finished second (11-3) in the OCC-Capital Division, behind Big Walnut (12-2).
Harris was second-team both all-district and all-league, batting .451 with 28 RBI, 32 runs, 13 doubles and nine stolen bases.
Trick was second-team all-league, batting .302 with 20 RBI, four doubles and two stolen bases.
