Rio Grande will play host to to a fall baseball league for players in grades 9-12. Games will last nine innings or 2 hours, 15 minutes, whichever comes first. Pitchers may throw three innings in a game and no player will sit for consecutive innings. Teams will be coached by members of the Redmen baseball team. Teams will use wooden bats that will be provided for them. The Ohio Chargers U-14 baseball team is looking for players for next year. The Chargers play a regional schedule and will participate in the tournaments throughout the Midwest. Eligible players cannot turn 15 before May 1, 2009.
