Three prints created by Jim Schwarz, of Jim Schwarz Photographers in Canal Winchester, have recently been accepted into the General Collection of the 117th International Exhibition of Professional Photography.

Three prints created by Jim Schwarz, of Jim Schwarz Photographers in Canal Winchester, have recently been accepted into the General Collection of the 117th International Exhibition of Professional Photography.

Schwarz's work will be on display at the Phoenix Convention Center, Jan. 11-13, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz.

Approximately 4,514 entries were submitted to Professional Photographers of America's International Print Competition. A panel of more than 40 photographers from across the United States selected the images for the General and Loan Collections.

Schwarz's three entries are titled "You're Not in Kansas Anymore," "Clockwork Orange" and "Press!"

Bernadette R. Anderson, M.D., M.P.H., has joined the Fairfield County Combined General Health District as a contracted physician.

Dr. Anderson will provide primary medical and women's health services for the Fairfield Department of Health Community Health Center. She is board certified in family practice, and earned a master's degree in public health from the University of California at Berkeley.

The Community Health Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment.

The clinic sees patients with any chronic illness or immediate health concern.
