The Pickerington Board of Education unanimously approved new two-year contracts March 26 for 25 district administrators.

The contracts are for employees ranging from district administrators and school building principals to special-education coordinators and assistant athletic supervisors.

The board approved the contracts without comment during a morning meeting at the district office on Monday. The action extends each administrator's employment with the district through the 2012-13 and 2013-14 school years.

"These salaries are based on the administrative salary schedule," Treasurer Dan Griscom said. "There is no base (salary) increase in the schedule for 2012-13."

Although no base-salary increases are slated for next school year, some administrators will receive more pay due because of the district's "step increase" policy, which provides raises tied to employees' professional experience and/or education.

Griscom said the board hasn't made a decision as to possible base-salary increases for the 2013-14 school year.

Based on the school board's action, the following administrators were granted new two-year contracts:

• Jim Sotlar, assistant superintendent and current interim superintendent, whose annual salary is $109,434.

• Bob Blackburn, director of special education and superintendent of the Pickerington Community School, whose annual salary is $106,497.

• Vince Utterback, business manager, whose annual salary is $97,132. Due to step increases, his salary will increase to $99,073.

• Stacy Tennenbaum, Pickerington High School Central assistant principal, whose annual salary is $68,639. Due to step increases, her salary will increase to $70,582.

• Monique Cobbs, PHS North assistant principal, who receives an annual salary of $78,352.

• Vickie Poplar, PHS North assistant principal, whose annual salary is $78,352.

• Jared Moore, PHS North assistant principal, whose annual salary is $68,639. Because of step increases, his salary will increase to $70,582.

• Jeff Clark, Lakeview Junior High principal, whose annual salary is $95,771. Due to step increases, his salary will increase to $99,073.

• Susan Caudill, Ridgeview Junior High principal, whose annual salary is $92,468. Step increases will raise her salary to $95,771.

• Heather Hedgepeth, Diley Middle School principal, whose annual salary is $90,418.

• LeaAnn Yoakum, Harmon Middle School principal, whose annual salary is $87,803. Due to step increases, her salary will increase to $90,418.

• Nikki Arnold, Harmon Middle School assistant principal, whose annual salary is $74,467. Due to step increases, her salary will increase to $76,410.

• Mark Jones, Toll Gate Middle School principal, whose annual salary is $95,649.

• Ruth Stickel, Fairfield Elementary principal, whose annual salary is $90,418.

• Melissa Moriarty, Pickerington Elementary principal, whose annual salary is $87,803.

• Brittany Turnbull, Sycamore Creek assistant principal and current interim principal, whose annual salary is $78,352.

• Jeannette Henson, Tussing Elementary principal, whose annual salary is $90,418.

• Kristi Motsch, Toll Gate Elementary principal, whose annual salary is $95,649.

• Paula Brown, elementary special education coordinator, whose annual salary is $78,286. Due to step increases, her salary will increase to $80,328.

• Kristina Hulse, PHS North special education coordinator, whose annual salary is $80,328. Due to step increases, her salary will increase to $82,370.

• Justina Weimar, PHS Central and Diley Middle School special education coordinator, whose annual salary is $84,413.

• Kelly Holbrook, Harmon Middle School and junior high special education coordinator, whose annual salary is $78,286. Due to step increases, her salary will increase to $80,328.

• Sharon Schmitz, PLSD school health coordinator and head school nurse of Harmon Middle School and Fairfield Elementary, whose annual salary is $76,410.

• James Campbell, PHS Central assistant athletic director, whose annual salary is $76,365. Due to step increases, his salary will increase to $78,458.

• Scott Barrett, junior high assistant athletic director, whose annual salary is $80,550.

Additionally, the board approved two-year "classified contract" renewals for:

• Daurel Copley, PLSD maintenance supervisor, whose annual salary is $70,818.

• Mary "Ginny" Duemmel, PLSD assistant food director, whose annual salary is $54,337. Due to a reduction in workdays for her position, her salary will decrease to $53,480.

• Darin Hartsell, PLSD network administrator, whose annual salary is $59,319.

Also, the board approved one-year administrative intern contract renewals for:

• Matthew Dansby, Tussing Elementary administrative intern, whose annual salary is $61,361. Due to step increases, his salary will increase to $63,361.

• Kara Jackson, Toll Gate Middle School administrative intern, whose annual salary is $67,052. Due to step increases, her salary will increase to $68,898.
