Pickerington water customers in the Long Road area, impacted by Wednesday’s water main break, will be without water Thursday evening and early Friday morning, city officials said.

The city has scheduled a water shutoff beginning at 11 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, to complete the necessary repairs.

Service is expected to be restored by 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7.

As a precautionary measure, those impacted should continue to boil for two minutes all water used for cooking and drinking.

City officials said they would provide written notification to residents when the boil alert has been lifted.
