It's almost time for swimsuit season in Pickerington.

Early Bird registration for the Pickerington Community Pool Season Passes begins March 1. Additional information can be found online at pickerington.net.

Adult softball leagues

Team information and applications are now available.

Applications can be found online at pickerington.net, or in the Parks and Recreation Department offices at 100 Lockville Road.

Each league will have a minimum of six teams and a maximum of eight teams.

Leagues will consist of Monday Men's Church, Tuesday Men's Church, Thursday Men's League, Friday Co-Rec Sycamore and Friday Co-Rec Diley. Team entry fee is $375.

Community gardens

The Pickerington Parks and Recreation Department will be continue the Community Gardens program.

Registration packets are available. Returning renters can claim the same plot as last year until Feb. 22. The week of Feb. 25 through March 1, returning gardeners can register for a new plot location. Remaining plots will be available to new renters starting March 4.

Winter programs

The 2013 Winter Program Guides are available, and registration is open. Guides can be found online at pickerington.net, and are available at our offices at 100 Lockville Road.
