Troop members Atticus Murphy, Brent Pritchard, David Geist and Brian Klever, all 18 years old, will be recognized for achieving the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America program. The four began their scouting journey together as Cubs in Pickerington Packs 26 and 51 before graduating to the rank of Boy Scout in 2006. They, along with six other Scouts in the troop, completed their Eagle Scout requirements in 2012. To receive the award all had to complete a special project. Geist built and installed bird houses for Pickerington Ponds; Klever built cases to house snakes and reptiles for the Science Department at Pickerington High School North; Murphy constructed a water feature pond, installed security fencing and conducted clean-up for Lake Hope's Nature Center; and Pritchard cleared debris for property formerly occupied by Grace Fellowship Church and now owned by the Board of Commissioners of Fairfield County.
