The Pickerington Community Pool opens Saturday, May 25, so be sure to purchase your season pass.
Registration forms can be found online at www.pickerington.net, or at the Parks and Recreation Department, 100 Lockville Road.
New Season Pass holders will receive a photo ID the first day they visit the pool. Those who had 2012 passes can reactivate their past photo ID.
The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the addition of a new adult Water Aerobics class.
We will have a Tuesday class from June 11 through Aug. 13 and a Wednesday class from June 12 through Aug. 14.
Each class will meet from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Pickerington Community Pool, 11330 Stonecreek Drive S. The classes will include low to intermediate intensity with the use of swim equipment to provide added resistance and cardio intensity.
Registration can be done online or at the Parks and Recreation Department prior to the start of the class.
Class fees are $48 for city residents and $60 for non residents. For more information call the Parks and Recreation Department at 614-833-2211.
Swim Lesson Registration is open and available online.
Swim Lesson levels have been slightly updated from last year, so be sure to read the descriptions to see which classes are best for your children.
This year we will also be offering a few evening swim lessons as well as the morning lessons.
The only requirements your child must meet for Swim Lessons is they must be 3 years old and potty trained. Which level they are in is up to their personal skill and abilities.

This year we are adding new special events throughout the season. Events include:
* Family Fun Night -- Friday, June 21, 6 to 9 p.m.
* Adult Night -- Friday, July 19, 8 to 10 p.m. (18 years and older).
* Family Luau Night -- Friday, Aug. 16, 6 to 9 p.m.
* Dog Splash -- Monday, Sept. 2, noon to 5 p.m.

Sycamore Park has been updated with a new playground which was recently installed in the upper level next to the Hilltop Shelter.
Bring the family out to Sycamore Park to enjoy this new addition, and all the other amenities available.
