The Pickerington High School North Drumline will get out the soap, buckets, and drums for their annual Drumathon and Car Wash Saturday, June 29.

The Pickerington High School North Drumline will get out the soap, buckets, and drums for their annual Drumathon and Car Wash Saturday, June 29.

The event will be held in the Sears Hardware parking lot at Refugee and Hill Road North (State Route 256).

Car wash hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the drumathon will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The all-day event is a rehearsal for the drumline as it begins preparation for the 2013 marching band season.

During the course of the day, the 22 student members of the drumline will take turns washing cars and rehearsing.

The public is invited to stop by for a car wash and enjoy music while wait for cars to be washed.

Donations will be accepted and funds received will be used to purchase supplies for the percussion section of the Pickerington High School North Band.
