Pickerington Community Chorus, looking for singers to join fall rehearsals, 7 to 8:15 p.m. Tuesdays at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 268 Hill Road N. in Pickerington. This year the chorus will be performing the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah on Dec. 7. There are no auditions and participants do not need to be a resident of Pickerington to join. Columbus Mothers of Twins Club, fall-winter kids' clothing and equipment sale, 12:30 to 3 p.m. Oct. 12, at the Resolute Athletic Complex near Easton, 3599 Chiller Lane. More than 100 moms of multiples will be selling their new and gently used children's clothing and equipment such as strollers, car seats, toys, books, games, music, movies, bedding, bath and maternity clothes. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Participants should bring a large shopping bag to shop; no strollers or wagons will be allowed inside. Concessions will be available.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Give thanks. Walk. event, Nov. 23, at Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 E. Broad St. The event features a family friendly after party, including face painting, Games2U, magician, live music and more from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Registration is free, but participants are forming teams and raising money online at givethankswalk.org to earn incentives. These efforts support St. Jude in finding cures to save children battling cancer and other diseases.
