Join the city of Pickerington to celebrate Arbor Day at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, in the Sycamore Park Arboretum.
Pickerington is a Tree City USA award-winner for 21 years and will be presented an award by Ohio Department of Natural Resources representative Lisa Bowers at the event. Enjoy refreshments, a flag presentation by the Cub Scouts and meet the winners of the essay contest.

Community garden plots are going fast. Stop by the Parks and Recreation Department to reserve your garden plot for the year before it's too late.
Remaining plots that are available are 15 feet by 20 feet and fees are $20/$25 (city resident/non-resident).

Looking for a place to host a graduation party, family reunion or baby shower? We have the right option for you outside in our beautiful parks.
We have four shelters that are available for reservation between April 1 and Oct. 31.

The adult softball leagues are scheduled to start the week of May 5. Team packets have been sent to managers.
The information includes schedules, rules, and roster forms. Rosters must be returned to the Parks and Recreation Department by Monday, April 25. Changes can be made to the roster up to week four of games.
Each team will be allowed to schedule one practice slot during the weeks of April 21-25 and April 28-May 2. .
