Treasure-hunters will get the opportunity to scour for unique, one-of-a-kind items and even some bargains at the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Society's Yard Sale.
The three-day sale will coincide with two of Olde Pickerington Village's major June events: opening day of the Olde Pickerington Farmers' Market on Thursday, June 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. and the Petfest on Friday, June 6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The front lawn of the Carnegie Library building, which houses the Historical Society, will be transformed into a picker's paradise as antiques, collectibles, home decor and general household items will be offered for sale and priced to move.
The items are all donated by Historical Society members, however, additional select items from the museum's collection will also be sold.
A third sale Saturday, June 7, is "leftover" day for items not sold in the previous two days.
Those items will be offered for sale in the museum's lower level during regular Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission to the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Museum is free.
All proceeds from the yard sale will go to help the museum further its mission of preserving Pickerington and Violet Township's historical legacy through the acquisition of local artifacts.
If it rains, the yard sale will be moved from the front lawn to the museum's lower level, which is also handicap accessible.
