Olde Pickerington Farmers' Market, sponsored by the Olde Pickerington Village Business Association, 4 to 7 p.m. Thursdays through Sept. 25 at 89 N. Community-Wide Toiletry Drive, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 26 at Kroger, 7833 Refugee Road NW, Pickerington. Collection boxes will be set up for donations of soap, shower gel, toilet paper, tissues, shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and razors. Donated items must be unopened and unused. Travel size items are also accepted. The drive will benefit 11 area organizations, such as Ohio Community Health Workers Association and the YWCA Family Center. Lancaster Chorale, auditions for the 32-voice professional choir for the 2014-2015 season, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 11 at First Presbyterian Church, 222 N. Broad St., Lancaster, and 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 13 at First Congregational Church, 444 E. Broad St., Columbus. The chorale has openings for all voice parts. AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program helps unemployed Franklin, Delaware and Licking county workers age 55 and over secure employment. The program offers paid work experience, specialized training, upgrading of skills and job-search assistance. Age, income and residency requirements apply. Fairfield Medical Center and Fairfield Christian Academy, Community Healthfest, 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 2 at Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 N. Columbus St., in Lancaster. Services that will be provided for all ages include cholesterol and glucose screenings, vision and hearing tests, spinal screenings and blood pressure and bone density tests, dental exams for children 18 years of age and younger, health information and childhood immunizations (bring immunization records with the child). Prizes, face painting, WiiTM games and backpack checks also will be offered. While supplies last, free school supplies will be given to children. (Children must be present.)
