Lancaster at Pickerington Central
Central showed a mix of the run and pass in its first two games, with Simkins throwing for 152 yards and eight players carrying the ball at least one time against Marion-Franklin. Reyes has shown ability at wide receiver.
Lancaster rushed for 441 yards on 39 carries against Logan on Aug. 24 but was limited to 144 yards on 37 rushes against Mason on Aug. 31 and 144 yards on 33 carries against Twinsburg on Sept. 7. King and Shishler should get the bulk of the carries and Theiss has thrown for 266 yards on the season.
Central bounced back after giving up 356 yards rushing to Colerain on Aug. 25 by causing three turnovers against Marion-Franklin on Aug. 31.
Other players to watch are Charlton and Walter of Central and Thomas and Trout of Lancaster. Charlton has verbally committed to Michigan, Walter has verbally committed to Miami University and Thomas and Trout have received scholarship offers from Division I colleges.

Lancaster led 14-7 after the first quarter against Twinsburg and extended its lead to 21-7 in the second quarter as King rushed for his third touchdown. The Gales didn't score another point, however, as Twinsburg finished with 256 yards passing and 415 total yards.
