Pickerington High School North senior football players Chris Huhn, Godwin Igwebuike, Mason Olszewski and Roland Ladipo made their college commitments Feb. 6, giving the school five players from the 2013 class who will play collegiately.
Jake Butt, who played tight end, wide receiver, defensive lineman and linebacker for the Panthers as they advanced to a Division I state semifinal last season, enrolled early at Michigan.
Igwebuike signed with Northwestern. He was the district's Offensive Player of the Year at running back and also played defensive back for the Panthers as they went 12-2 overall and 6-1 to tie Pickerington Central for the OCC-Ohio Division title.
Igwebuike rushed for 1,981 yards and 25 touchdowns and had 15 receptions for 179 yards and three touchdowns.
Olszewski signed with the University of Charleston, an NCAA Division II school. He was 127-for-205 passing for 20 touchdowns and rushed for 563 yards at quarterback and also made 55 tackles and had three interceptions at defensive back. He was the first-team all-district punter.
Ladipo committed to Air Force. He had 18 catches for 176 yards at wide receiver and also played defensive back.
Huhn originally committed to Western Kentucky but switched his commitment to Marshall University late this winter as an offensive lineman.
Butt finished with a program-record 68 catches, for 902 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.
Both Butt and Igwebuike made the ThisWeek Super 25.
