Two Pickerington High School Central girls soccer players signed national letters of intent Feb. 6.
Forward/midfielder Lizzie Awuah signed with Youngstown State, and defender Libby Roesch signed with Lake Erie College.
Awuah scored a team-high 13 goals for the Tigers, who went 10-7-1 overall and 4-3 in the OCC-Ohio Division, and earned second-team all-league. She finished her high school career with 33 goals and saw time as a goalkeeper her sophomore and junior years.
Roesch, who is expected to play midfield in college, had three goals and a team-high 12 assists. She was a team captain, first-team all-league honoree and the Tigers’ Most Valuable Player.
