Three Pickerington High School North girls basketball players signed letters of intent to play in college.
Morgan Bassett-Smith will play at New Hampshire, Brittany Johnson will play at Quinnipiac and Jordan Toohey will play at Radford.
Bassett-Smith, a 6-foot-2 center, is a two-year starter for the Panthers.
Johnson, a 5-11 forward, averaged 12.1 points last year when North went 17-9 overall and 9-5 in the OCC-Ohio Division and finished as Division I district runner-up for the second consecutive year. She was named second-team all-league and honorable mention all-district.
Like Johnson, Toohey — a 5-11 guard/forward — is a three-year starter.
Johnson and Toohey each missed the first several weeks of this season with knee injuries sustained last summer, but returned in late January. Bassett-Smith overcame a broken ankle in the offseason but returned in time for the start of the season.
