Howard Jones of Reynoldsburg has been re-elected secretary of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers.

Howard Jones of Reynoldsburg has been re-elected secretary of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers.

In this role, he will help guide he legislative, educational and service activities for the engineering profession in Ohio.

Jones has also received the Engineers Foundation of Ohio President's Award, given in recognition of his contributions to the goals and objectives of EFO, which funds and administers engineering, math and science programs aimed at students.

Jones is principal engineer at American Electric Power in Gahanna and a member of the Franklin County chapter of OSPE.

He earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
