The Reynoldsburg Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidates Forum Thursday, April 2, at Waggoner Road Junior High School, 360 S. Waggoner Road.

The Reynoldsburg Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidates Forum Thursday, April 2, at Waggoner Road Junior High School, 360 S. Waggoner Road.

A reception at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by a 7 p.m. program.

Invited guests include city council candidates Nathan Burd, Barth Cotner, Chris Long, Corenelius McGrady III, Donna Shirey and Ron Stake, as well as Richard Harris, who is running to be city auditor.

The Reynoldsburg Republican Club is sponsoring the event. The forum takes the place of the chamber's regular monthly luncheon for April.

First Service Federal Credit Union is sponsoring a spring drive for military troops who are serving overseas from March 30 through April 17.

In partnership with Operation Buckeye, First Service will assemble boxes containing food items, toiletries, entertainment items and letters of appreciation.

Anyone who wishes to participate in the drive can call Catherine Roebuck at (614) 920-6351 to request a list of items to donate.

Donations can be dropped off at any First Service Federal Credit Union office during regular business hours.
