A resident in the 7000 block of Daugherty Drive reported the screen on his kitchen window was cut overnight but there was no entry into the home. Neighbors reported hearing a thumping noise, but did not see anything.

A resident in the 7000 block of Donald Avenue reported someone broke into a van parked in her driveway and took some tools from it. Entry was made by punching out the door locks on the vehicle, police reports said.

A resident in the 6000 block of Rippey Circle reported a book bag and laptop computer were stolen from her vehicle overnight. She told police she discovered the items missing at 6:30 a.m. She said the doors to the vehicle were unlocked but she could not remember if she had locked them the night before.

A resident in the 7000 block of Trillium Lane reported a purse containing $200 in cash and some credit cards was stolen from the residence at around 10 p.m. A young boy accompanied by an adult was seen in the area before the crime occurred and both were observed running from the scene, police reports said.

A resident in the 7000 block of Marlan Avenue reported a laptop computer was stolen from his home. Police found no signs of forced entry and no fingerprints.

A man who parked his vehicle in the parking lot of Waggoner Middle School at 360 Waggoner Road reported the rear window had been shot out. Witnesses said they heard the shots but did not see anybody.
