Reynoldsburg police are searching for a man who robbed the Buckeye Gas N' Go at 7616 E. Main St. on Tuesday, June 22.

Detective Kevin McDonnell said it is hard to tell the man's race from surveillance photos, but he is between 20 and 30 years old, 5-feet, 9-inches to 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with a thin build and hair in a buzz cut.

He was wearing a brown plaid shirt and appeared to have a gold tooth. He also had a thin beard along his jaw line and a goatee.

According to police reports, the man entered the store at around 11:33 a.m. on June 22, selected a beverage and gave the clerk money to pay for it.

When the clerk opened the cash register, the man pushed him away and threatened to harm him, police said.

The man took an undisclosed amount of money from the register, then fled in a newer model four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai Accent.

McDonnell said the man may be connected to other robberies in central Ohio. Anyone who can identify him or who has information about the robbery is asked to all Reynoldsburg police at (614) 866-6919.
