The city of Reynoldsburg plans a number of capital improvement projects for 2011, Director of Engineering Jim Miller said.

Ground work for some projects was done in 2010, he said, including design plans for the rebuilding of Summit Road. Construction is scheduled in the spring with completion by the end of 2011.

The project will complement two new schools the Reynoldsburg school district is building along Summit Road, Miller said.

In addition, the city this month approved contracts that clear the way for stormwater projects in 2011. Miller said he will identify the streets involved sometime in January.

For the city's 2011 street program, Miller will identify as many as 12 streets for improvements.

Miller also said design and construction of water and sanitary sewer line improvements will begin in the spring.

Other work in 2010 included the final phase of the Rosehill Road reconstruction project, running from the city's corporation limit near EastBroad Street south to Rosedale Road.
