• A resident of the 6000 block of Birchview Drive South reported while walking near a day care business, he was robbed at gunpoint by a black man wearing black clothes and a toboggan hat. According to police, the man fired two shots near the victim's leg, missing him, after a struggle ensued. The suspect fled into the Eastgreen apartment complex after taking the man's cell phone and $750 in cash.

• A resident of the Postwoods apartment complex reported her apartment was broken into. Nothing was reported stolen, but the inside of her residence had been ransacked and the frame of the back door broken.

• A resident of the 6000 block of Windriver Drive reported being awakened while a burglary was in progress on the back deck of his home. According to police reports, there were two black males, one of whom smashed out a kitchen window. The resident, holding a 9mm pistol, yelled at the men to show him their hands and they fled the scene.

• The manager of a business in the 6000 block of East Main Street reported the front door glass was smashed out while he was inside the store. He heard the motion alarms going off and after checking the area reported nothing stolen.
