• A resident in the 500 block of Saddletree Drive reported the basement window was broken out. According to police, when the family arrived home, they noticed the house was in disorder and found a flat-screen TV, jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen.

• An employee of a business in the 7000 block of Slate Ridge Boulevard reported the front door had been pried open and three desktop computers were stolen.

March 21

• The owner of an auto care business in the 6000 block of Livingston Avenue reported two of his customers' vehicles had been broken into overnight. Both had windows broken out and police reported a car stereo was taken from one.

March 23

• A resident in the 2000 block of Belltree Drive reported a lug nut had been removed from each of the four tires on his vehicle. According to police, he said he wanted to report this incident because the same thing happened to him about six months ago.

March 24

• A resident in the 7000 block of Bartlett Road reported finding a .45-caliber bullet in her family room. According to police, the bullet came through the roof and through the ceiling of the family room. They said it happened sometime after midnight but they had received no reports of shots being fired around that time.

• A customer of a business in the Taylor Square shopping center reported someone had broken in to his vehicle around 3:30 p.m. Police reported the driver's side window had been broken out and some unidentified items had been stolen.
