Ghosts, goblins, vampires, superheroes or other costumed residents are invited to Reynoldsburg's annual community Halloween party.
Sponsored by the city's Parks & Recreation Department, the free Halloween party is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Kennedy Park, 7232 E. Main St.
Parks officials said children and residents should come "dressed in your best costume" to enjoy games, live entertainment and "fun foods."
The party is for Reynoldsburg residents only, according to recreation department officials.
The department is also sponsoring a pumpkin-carving party for children age 5-10, but parents must register children early, because space is limited.
The pumpkin-carving event will be held from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Kennedy Park gazebo, 7232 E. Main St. Those interested should register by calling 614-322-6806.
Parks and recreation department personnel will show children how to carve pumpkins and make Halloween crafts. Pumpkins and carving utensils will be provided.
Beggars' Night in Reynoldsburg will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
