Lancaster Chorale, concert with the theme "Live, Laugh & Love," 3 p.m. May 5 at Faith Memorial Church, 2610 W. Fair Ave., Lancaster. The Lancaster-Fairfield Youth Choir, directed by Andrew Brown, and the Lancaster Community Band, directed by Judy Rehrer. Gender Road Christian Church, annual indoor yard sale, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 12 at the church, 5336 Gender Road, Canal Winchester. Proceeds benefit the church mission fund. In addition, a plant and flower sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 10-12 at the church.

Historical Aircraft Squadron, annual open house, May 18 (rain date is May 19) at the Fairfield County Airport, 3266 Old Columbus Road, Carroll. Admission and parking are free. Events throughout the day include sky diving, display of Med-Flight's helicopter, an antique car show and Young Eagles plane rides for ages 8 to 17. A tethered hot air balloon sponsored by Keller Farms will be on site, with museum tours all day. Document shredding will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. (two box limit) sponsored by Taylor Chevrolet. Classes, workshops

Criterium Liszkay Engineers, free home buyers seminar, 7 p.m. May 7 and 9 for part one, May 14 and 16 for part two, in the East Main Professional Building, 5300 E. Main St., Suite 203. Participants will learn the basics of what a home inspector looks for, helping prospective buyers eliminate houses with major problems before entering into a contract. Each session is 90 minutes. Wesley Ridge Family CAREgiver Group, 11 a.m. May 25 at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community, 2225 Taylor Park Drive. The topic will be "Music Therapy: Using Music to Enhance Caregiving."
