The city of Reynoldsburg’s new clerk of council is Teresa Veit.
Reynoldsburg City Council members held a special meeting after committee meetings Tuesday, Sept. 3, to appoint Veit to replace longtime council clerk Nancy Frazier, who retired July 30.
Veit is a Reynoldsburg resident who currently works as an administrative assistant in the development department for Upper Arlington. She is a former employee of the city of Reynoldsburg, having served as executive secretary to the building/zoning department from 2000 to 2005.
Council president Doug Joseph said the city had considered 42 applicants for the position.
“Teresa stood out because she had a broad range of experience and had worked for the city in the past,” he said. “We felt there was good chemistry between her and members of the council.”
