Making marks

Elijah Williams, son of Curtis and Cassandra Williams of Reynoldsburg, has been selected as a 2013-2014 National Achievement Scholar.

The National Achievement Scholarship Program is an academic competition established in 1964 to provide recognition for outstanding black American high school students and earn recognition based on the results of the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test they take as high school juniors.

Williams, a student at St. Charles Preparatory School, plans to pursue biochemistry research in college and his preferred school is Ohio State University. He is a member of his school's Robotics Team, serving as one of its programmers.
