Lancaster Chorale, auditions for the 32-voice professional choir for the 2014-2015 season, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 11 at First Presbyterian Church, 222 N. Broad St., Lancaster, and 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 13 at First Congregational Church, 444 E. Broad St., Columbus. The chorale has openings for all voice parts. Heart of Ohio Tole Chapter, 34th annual convention "Hats Off To Painting," Aug. 11-16 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High St., Columbus. Free Dog Obedience Training Clinic, first Wednesday of every month, April through September, at Vineyard Community Church, 15187 Palmer Road. Individuals and their dog will work on training techniques using a positive reinforcement approach. Grace Clinic, free medical clinic, 6 to 8 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays at East Side Grace Brethren, 7510 E. Broad St., Blacklick. The clinic is operated by an all-volunteer staff comprised of three physicians, five nurses, one physical therapist and four administrative staffers. No shots, stitches or pain medicines are administered however visitors can receive help for colds and flu symptoms and monitoring of blood pressure.
