The Reynoldsburg High School girls basketball team defeated Pickerington North 59-47 in a key OCC-Ohio Division game Jan. 28.

The Raiders improved to 16-1 overall and 11-0 in league play. The Panthers fell to 12-5 and 9-2.

Junior Aliyah Zantt came off the bench for Reynoldsburg to lead all scorers with

24 points. Destini Cooper added 13 points, five rebounds and two blocks.

North senior Kavunaa Edwards scored 23 points.

"That's a very good team," Reynoldsburg coach Jack Purtell said of North. "Tonight was like a playoff atmosphere. We want to keep getting better and be at our best come tournament time."
