Genoa Township and the Genoa Firefighters Local 4307 will co-host the Genoa Firefighters MDA 5K run/walk and a kids fun run for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Westerville Central High School boys basketball program will have a summer skills camp for players grades 3-12. The camp for players grades 9-12 will be June 9-12 and the camp for players grades 3-8 will be June 14-17. Instruction will be provided by Central coaches, college players and former Warhawk players with an emphasis on individual skill development and team and individual competitions. Former Ohio State and NFL football player Chris Spielman will hold the fourth-annual Chris Spielman Football Camp from 5:30-8:30 p.m. July 19-21 at Dublin Coffman High School for boys and girls ages 7-14. Spielman will be at the camp to direct activities and help provide instruction, in addition to various local high school and college coaches. Camp proceeds will benefit the Spielman Family Fund.
