The Upper Arlington High School crew team will play host to the Blake Haxton Fall Invitational rowing regatta on the east bank of Griggs Reservoir from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Haxton Invitational was initiated by UA boys coach Chris Swartz to honor Haxton, a former captain on the team.

Haxton lost his legs and nearly his life to a rare flesh-eating bacteria in the spring of 2009.
