Eagles fall to 1-2 with loss to Warriors

Nick Wargo threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Crissean Caver in the fourth quarter to give Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit a 26-24 win over visiting Watterson on Friday, Sept. 9.

The Eagles, who dropped to 1-2, had taken a 24-20 lead earlier in the fourth quarter when Craig Fada caught a 2-yard scoring pass from Andy Elberson.

Watterson outgained Walsh Jesuit 379-278.

Elberson also threw touchdowns of 29 yards to Fada and 25 yards to Mario Dean. He completed 11 of 19 passes for 188 yards with an interception.

Fada caught six passes for 132 yards.

The Warriors improved to 2-1.
